Developing a flexible proofing platform for corporate clients to place orders online

ATLANTA, GA - July 21, 2006 – Solar Velocity (www.solarvelocity.com ), a fast growing interactive marketing and web design firm in the Southeast, developed a flexible proofing platform for corporate clients to place orders online.

Corporate Print Technologies is an Atlanta based printing organization specializing in raised letter printing for large corporations. Corporate Print Technologies has been an Atlanta fixture for over 25 years.
Corporate Print Technologies had a need to create an efficient process for clients placing repeat orders. Solar Velocity developed a flexible proofing platform for corporate clients to place orders online. Administrative features allow for complete control of the site setup and proofing tools.

Corporate clients are assigned their own portal site with customized features which employees login to for ordering printed materials. Once the user information is entered into the order form, users are presented with a real-time proof of the item. Any printed item can be setup for the system to create.

Once the order is completed, a print ready file is created ready to be loaded into the print queue. Bleeds, special fonts, spot colors and separations are all capable with the proofing system. Solar Velocity created a comprehensive and flexible solution to increase production while decreasing setup time and costs for new clients.
