JASON R. SWENK, CEO

Jason R. Swenk is co-founder and chief executive officer of Solar Velocity, LLC. Under his leadership, Solar Velocity is one of the leading technology and marketing companies specializing in web technologies, creative services, social, interactive, email, and search marketing.
Prior to co-founding Solar Velocity in November 1999, Swenk provided consulting services at Arthur Andersen, during which he worked with numerous Fortune 100 companies. At Solar Velocity, he continues to apply this expertise in collaborations with national and international clientele, including AFLAC, Hitachi and Lotus Cars, and has become one of the pioneers and thought leader on Social CRM (sCRM) strategies and implementation. Jason frequently blogs about the intersection of technology and marketing on Solar Velocity’s Digital Insights blog and has appeared as a featured speaker at Microsoft’s Convergence conference.
Under Swenk’s direction, Solar Velocity received Best Place to Work by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Innovative Company of the Year, Top 10 Most Dependable Web Design Firms in the Southeast, as well as one of the Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year, awarded by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for seven consecutive years (2003-2009). Additionally, Solar Velocity earned several other industry performance awards.
Swenk holds a bachelors degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University. He is an avid race car driver, cartoonist, and competes in periodic Ironman Triathlon competitions.
Swenk resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Kimberly and sons, Luke and Chase.

SCOTT ALEXANDER, VP of Production
Scott Alexander serves as the Vice President of Production at Solar Velocity, LLC. He is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations, including working with project managers, the creative department, and the IT team. He has an extensive design and technical background that shares applicable knowledge across all facets of interactive and digital processes. Scott is considered an early-adapter of technology which lends valuable insight into technology trends and impact, keeping Solar Velocity ahead of the curve and established as a digital industry leader.
Prior to joining Solar Velocity, Scott has been involved in nearly every web-related field, including: illustration, graphic design, development, database administration, UI design and much, much more. His complex understanding of the web and design world provides integration that is a key component to technological application and beneficial clientele interaction.
Scott holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia. He is on the advisory board for AIU and provides advice on real world application of graphic and web design while assisting with curriculum development. He is an avid cyclist and has been competing at an elite level for the past 5 years. He resides in Atlanta with his wife, Mary.
