Aflac
Aflac required a simple way to educate its sales force on the current products while online and offline. The company recognized that its large, scattered sales force would make providing up-to-date data in a simple, easy-to-use package a challenge.
The Challenge
Distributed work force with inconsistent access to the Internet, multiple computer platforms, sales force needed to be able to access to information when offline at a customer’s location, and large amounts of data required automated quarterly updates
The Solution
Solar Velocity introduced a synchronized desktop application and server system solution. We developed a branded Toolkit application, which was installed on a sales person’s laptop and contained well-organized product information. The desktop installer was delivered in a convenient flash drive, but an identical server-based system displayed the same information in an online format for users who did not wish to install the application. The desktop application synchronized at start up with the online system to ensure all data was current. 
The Result
Greatly improved information delivery, guaranteed up-to-date sales material information, and simple update procedure for quarterly information changes
